Week 1 - LDC - Thought Leadership and Epistemology

What is 'epistemology'?
It basically means, the study of knowledge in general. We had a discussion about what knowledge is in our groups at The Mind Lab. We talked about, how do we know what we know? Then Dr Herbert Thomas got us thinking about, what is knowledge, is at a noun or a verb? We made a one minute video showing our understanding of knowledge.

Students go through a number of processes when they use cognitive learning tools. When using these tools, students think more about the information they encounter, rather than just memorising the information, or just reproducing or recalling it. Cognitive tools allow the students to delve into higher order thinking.
