Week 11 - DCL - Agile Based Learning & LDC - Agile Based Leadership

My notes from class tonight...

First week back at school. Has been a great week so far but like the children, I am starting to feel pretty exhausted :-/

The Agile Manifesto

Project Management in Schools
eg Spiral of Inquiry

Lean education - concept of eliminating waste. Lean production across the system. The DCL programme is designed to produce practitioners that problem solve.

Kanban - visualise the workflow.
Things to be learned - Things we are learning - Things we have learned. Great for kids who have short memory to display the process of learning. Use a Trello - digital version of Kanban.

As a teacher,
I want to have engaged students,
so that I can meet their learning needs.
How will I know if the requirement has been met?
By collecting data and observing children, adapting my planning to teach to their needs - can they demonstrate that skills of knowledge?
